Only judiciary can save democracy: Imran Khan

 


 

Lahore: Chairman PTI Imran Khan says that our democracy is hanging by a thin thread, only the judiciary can save it.

According to the details, while holding a news conference from Zaman Park, the former prime minister said that the independent judiciary is the guarantor of fundamental rights.

Imran Khan said that our democracy is hanging by a small thread, it is the judiciary that has saved democracy so far, now the judiciary is being attacked by the mafia, so the nation should stand with the judiciary.

He said that I am using the word mafia for these people because they are not concerned about the country, they are just saving the chair, the judiciary is an obstacle in the way of this mafia, so they are attacking it.

Criticizing the Sharif family, the former prime minister said that when Nawaz Sharif took two-thirds majority, the judiciary was also in his way, an honest Chief Justice was on the way, so Nawaz Sharif did not accept this, he attacked the Supreme Court and called the Chief Justice a stick.

My voters and supporters are peaceful people

In his news conference, the former prime minister said that my voters, workers and supporters are peaceful people, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has been peaceful for twenty-seven years and will continue to be so.

Last year on May 25th, we were oppressed. It was the position of the police that it was an order from behind. We staged a sit-in on May 26. I was wronged. I realized that we should not go towards anarchy.

Assassination artists are known

While giving a news conference at Zaman Park, Imran Khan said that violence and encirclement are not my philosophy. Once a party gets blood, it ceases to be a political party. Twenty-five years ago, someone said that if you want to have a party in Karachi, then keep an armed group. He replied that having armed people in the party changes the nature of the party itself.
